Frogfoot core teams will upgrade the switch stack to the latest firmware to improve stability and performance.

Frogfoot ME engineers will replace the current switch with a new one, due to a fault on the 2nd PSU slot. 4 hours of downtime expected for customers directly connecting to Matroosfontein; the remaining customers services will be at risk during this time.

Engineers will repatch backhauls along with their configurations to new ports, The backhauls will be unpatched and patched into new ports. Only one backhaul will be attended to at a time.

The engineers must upgrade the firmware on the ONTs in the CPT/BFN regions to a newer version to ensure standardisation across the network.

The Core engineers must upgraded the firmware version on the core routers in Teraco Rondebosch. Customers will experience 30 - 40 minutes of downtime during the window.

Frogfoot engineers aim to upgrade equipment with a standardized configuration to facilitate the transition to a new network. 6 hours of impact expected.

The engineers must upgrade the firmware on the ONTs in the CPT/JHB/ERM regions to a newer version to ensure standardization across the network. Approximately 15 to 20 minutes of downtime will be required while the firmware upgrade is applied.
